LOCAL PRIVATE JET COMPANY WORKS WITH ITV’S THE X FACTOR

St Albans-based private jet service PrivateFly will appear this weekend on ITV’s The X Factor.
The company has a starring role in a film, featuring members of pop band JLS, to promote one of the TV network’s viewer competitions.
PrivateFly will also fly the winner to Paris by private jet next year, as part of the overall competition prize package.
The film, which will first air on Saturday 12th October, will be shown several times over this series of The X Factor.
The shoot took place in September at nearby London Luton Airport, the UK’s busiest private jet airport.
ITV filmed with PrivateFly at Luton’s 24-hour Signature private jet facility, the biggest of the three private jet terminals based there, using a Citation XLS private jet. Members of JLS (who found fame after appearing on The X Factor in 2008) are seen boarding the jet in the film, after arriving on the PrivateFly red carpet.
The company, whose head office is in St Peters Street, St Albans, is a booking service for global private jet hire. It was founded in 2008 by local resident and private jet pilot Adam Twidell, and his wife and co-founder Carol Cork.
