Geneva-based Richard Koe joins private jet company to develop business strategy in Europe
PrivateFly, www.privatefly.com, the online private charter network,
today announces the appointment of Richard Koe to develop partnerships and business strategy in Europe.
The move will provide a significant boost for the company's European expansion plans.
Koe was previously Vice President at Business Aviation Group, PrivatAir, and was involved in corporate
strategy and planning for the Latsis Group. He has worked internationally within the USA, Europe and Africa.
Koe will be based in Geneva, one of Europe's most important hubs for private aviation and a strategically influential
business centre, offering a low-tax regime to wealthy individuals and a high concentration of private banks.
Key to Koe's appointment is his experience and contacts within many of the European markets with which
PrivateFly is looking to develop partnerships - including manufacturing, telecommunications, oil and gas,
venture capital, real estate, and luxury yachting sectors.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO and founder, Adam Twidell, said:
"We are delighted that Richard is joining us, and his appointment underpins our ambitious expansion plans.
Richard's expertise adds important insight and helps boost the speed at which we are developing partnerships across Europe.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team".
Richard Koe added: "PrivateFly has the potential to bring about exciting change and efficiencies
in the private jet market, and the partnership proposition is a very exciting one for many businesses in
Geneva and across Europe. I'm looking forward to helping the team develop and deliver a pan-European
business development strategy".
