AIRPORT HISTORY

Inaugurated in 1972, Grand Case airport was first managed by the Guadeloupe departement, before being handed over to the municipality of St Martin in 2006.

Since April 2011, it is managed by SNC Lavelin, which oversees the extension of its private aviation installations. In 2013, construction started to double the available ramp space (from 64 500 sq. ft. to 129 000 sq. ft.).

Located 1.2 miles from the city Grand Case, 5 miles from Marigot and 6 miles from the island of Saint-Barthelemy, the airport is accessible by private car and taxi. Transfers take approximately 15 minutes from Marigot.
