Adam Twidell, CEO

After serving 10 years as a RAF pilot, Adam entered the world of private aviation with NetJets. Following the tremendous growth in private aviation Adam teamed up with London City Airport, winning the contract to develop RAF Northolt into what is now the UK's most exclusive private jet hub. Having seen the industry from all angles Adam spotted a need in the market for an efficient online private jet booking network, linking customers directly with aircraft operators. Carol Cork, Sales & Marketing Director

With a background in the media and luxury goods industry, Carol understands that for PrivateFly's customers, the definition of luxury is time and exemplary customer service. No stranger to business challenges, Carol has worked with numerous international consumer magazines and was Promotions Director for the launch of Conde Nast's GLAMOUR magazine, which she helped propel to Europe's biggest selling glossy magazine in under a year.

David Scowsill, Chairman

David has been Chairman or non-executive director of various travel and technology businesses - On the Beach Holidays, Yuuguu, Venere, Worldhotels. He has wide private equity and venture capital experience in the retail, consumer, technology and travel sectors, from pre-revenue start-ups to $4.5bil buy-outs. He has been Sales and Marketing Director at easyJet airlines and CEO for Opodo, the pan-European online travel company. Previously, David has served as CEO for the global retail services business Minit Group; SVP Sales, Marketing, and IT on the Board of Hilton Hotels. He has 19 years of extensive sales, marketing, and operational experience worldwide in aviation, with British Airways as Director of Europe and Middle East, and as Managing Director of European Sales at American Airlines.

John Bevan, Non-Executive Director

John Bevan joined the PrivateFly board in August 2009 as a non-executive director. Prior to this John was lastminute.com UK managing director. He held a variety of roles within the lastminute.com group over eight years, including holiday director and then travel director. John joined lastminute.com following the acquisition of Online Travel Company (OTC), where he was marketing and product director and was responsible for a number of leading websites including bargainholidays.com and Onlinetravel.com. Prior to OTC, John was Managing Director for EMAP Digital Travel and international sales director for hotel business Groupe Envergure.

Shaunak Upadhya - Operations Controller

Shaunak graduated from City University in Air Transport Studies and after gaining experience in the finance sector and technology industries, he joined PrivateFly in 2009 as Operations Controller. Combining a technical mind, industry knowledge and a passion for aviation, Shaunak is committed to improving the development of PrivateFly as an operator network. As Operations controller, he drives PrivateFly's operations team to ensure concise, expert planning for every PrivateFly charter flight.
