Overview
The Airbus A330 is designed for medium-haul flights needing a large passenger capacity or for long-haul flights where a larger plane is not necessary. It was developed at the same time as the four-engined Airbus A340.There are two main variants of the A330, the A330-300 and A330-200.
Comfort & Size
The A330-300 seats a maximum of 335 passengers in a typical two-class cabin layout, or 280 passengers when configured for three classes. Seat pitch can be adapted in units of one inch. Galleys, lavatories and stowages can be located in different numbers, groupings and locations. In-flight entertainment can be incorporated in the seats or screens mounted on partitions below the overhead stowages. This makes for an almost infinite variety of cabin interiors.
