Can a private jet fly in snow?

Yes, although private jets are subject to the same flight restrictions as scheduled airlines, private jets can use more airports than scheduled airlines.

This means that when snow is forecast or an airport is restricted due to snow or ice a private jet pilot can divert (sometimes even en route) to an airport which is less affected by adverse weather.

Private flight flexibility also allows route and time changes to avoid weather issues. You can read my blog on "Can a private jet fly in the snow" for more information.
