Airports and air space remain open, but some airlines have cancelled flights.

**Ash Cloud Latest Update**

Latest information from the Met Office shows that following the recent eruption of Grimsvotn in Iceland, no volcanic ash is currently predicted in airspace over the UK from 0100 UK time on Wednesday 25th May.

The Ash Cloud is affecting airports and air space in Northern Germany. Air space in Northern Germany is currently closed and the ash cloud is expected to affect Berlin from 1100-1700 (0900GMT-1500GMT) and Bremen and Hamburg Airports.

Air space in Northern Germany is currently closed and the following airlines have flight cancellations and delays:

Lufthansa has said it expected a total of 150 of its flights to be cancelled.
